Our Celtic accessories are fabulous! Many of them are Celtic symbols and Celtic “knots” from way way back. I read that the Celtic people “originated” in Germany sometime around 2500 years ago. Some of the symbols represented by our Celtic pendants were first discovered in stone carvings.
The spoons in the picture are Welsh Love Spoons. The come as the result of an auld tradition in Wales. It is said when the girls and boys are courting, the boys always visit the girls parents house to spend time with their love. The girls parents require the boys “hand-craft” spoons from wood or metal as a way to keep their hands busy during the courtship stage of the relationship. How fun!
